Supporting global transformation

 

Cognizant (CTSH) is a leading player in business process outsourcing and IT consulting. In 2017, the company refreshed its logo to own a more modern leadership position and signal its ongoing transformation in the marketplace. We worked with Cognizant to translate this logo into a full visual system that could easily be put into practice by over 280,000 Cognizant employees. With a time zone- and facility-spanning workforce to consider, we guided the company through a global rollout, one step at a time.

Our engagement included an extensive collateral rationalization and redesign involving hundreds of existing templates that needed to be consolidated and rethought under the new brand. Our redesign brought the number of templates to ten including brochures, white papers, posters, sales sheets, mission books, fact sheets, case studies, flyers, thought leadership materials and email newsletters. Each templated offer both restraints to keep the materials consistent and on-brand while also providing design freedom and flexibility so that each item produced felt unique.
